Surgery patient dies as doctors flee hospital fire
Fri Aug 26, 2011
7 - They'll never get it. Americans would rather see their government as a sporting event, where it doesn't matter what happens to the country so long as their side wins. In the meantime, the government -- no matter red or blue -- destroys our country while enriching themselves.
Nurses often exposed to toxic cancer drugs, study finds
Tue Aug 23, 2011
It's okay. If they can't be bothered to follow the procedures, they probably don't bother to wash their hands between patients, either. What goes around comes around.
Bill Clinton goes vegan, but it's not going to be easy
Fri Aug 19, 2011
I think most people posting here so far need to worry less about what other people are eating and more about how judgmental they are. :) Like anyone is going to change anyone else's mind on the matter. When the subject comes up, I suggest people pay careful attention to their body.

Fri Jul 29, 2011
Psychology is voyeuristic by definition. It's a nasty little occupation practiced by nasty little people who get their kicks sticking their nose where it doesn't belong and pretending they are wiser than you.
Antibiotics beat cranberries in battle against bladder infections

You're probably a lot safer for it. UTI's respond extremely well to homeopathy.
Stay safe in the ER with life-saving strategies
Fri Jul 22, 2011
Not only do you need to be a doctor, you also have to be extremely thick-skinned to deal with their obnoxious attitude when you question them, and you have to be at the top of your form both intellectually and emotionally while you're sick enough to be in an ER in the first place -- something the pr …
Rumsfeld gets TSA pat-down at O'Hare airport
Thu Jul 14, 2011
I have to admit, at a local level, the security people seem to have at least half a brain. As a senior who rarely has cause to visit government buildings, I entered one the other day carrying a bag with a stun gun, an athame (ritual knife), and a cigarette lighter, and blithely placed it on the scan …
